Free Seventh-day Adventists are a union of like-minded churches and ministries upholding the old landmarks of biblical Adventism where the local congregation is its own sovereign entity under God. We trace our foundational roots back to the early twentieth century southern revival movement of Elder J. W. Manns and Lewis C. Sheafe within the African-American community; they courageously introduced this connection of believers to the world in 1916. We are dedicated to the continuation of the revivals which were initiated by our forefathers and the ecclesiastical heritage which they handed down. We are a compassionate, caring, and prayerful community of believers committed to relieving the sufferings of humanity and preparing a people for eternity. We seek to aid mankind in the areas of health, true education, and eternal life in Christ Jesus.
